With two couples we’ve had a great stay at the house of Gorjana and Vedran in August 2015.
The cottage is located in a quiet village, with a little city at about 5-10 minutes driving distance. We arrived late (around 22:00) due to a fullday visit to a nearby nature park. This was no issue however, and when we arrived our hosts were awaiting us with some delicious dalmatian hams, cheeses, bread, wine and more. We couldnt have imaged a warmer welcome. The pictures of the appartment look beautiful on Airbnb, but are not able to capture the true charm of this wonderful place. The cottage itself is relatively small, but equipped with all necessary facilities: A bedroom, living room, a little kitchen with fridge and freezer, airconditioning, a decent wifi connection, etc. There is an additional studio on the topfloor, accesible through the garden. There is no airconditinion in this studio though.
However what makes this place so great is the outdoors area. The house has two covered terraces: one on the front side and one on the back. On the backside a pooltable is on the terrace. On both sides there is a very large garden and there is a swimming pool on in the front garden (with disco lights!). Additionally, a lot of activities are available at the house: we amused ourselves a lot with archery and the bow that was available. There were mountainbikes, a petanque track, several games, hammocks, and much more. The owners also arranged a visit for us to one of his friends, who has a biological farm not far from the cottage, where we bought and picked our own fresh vegetables. Amazing!
If we get back to Croatia we will definitely reach out to this wonderful location again!

We spent a great week in House Guda with 2 adults and 3 boys in the age between 11 and 14! The house is very cosy, supplies everything needed for a comfortable stay and it’s big enough for 5.
With the pool, pool table and all other things available in and around the house you won’t easily get bored. The room upstairs can get a bit warm, but our kids didn’t mind and liked having their own spot.
The owners are very very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, like we already knew each other for years 🙂 They just started renting their lovey cottage and take in all suggestions you might have to make it even better for their guests. Any questions you have (places to visit, things to do, and so on) they will happily answer. The nearby village has a couple of supermarkets, restaurants etc. You do need a car.
If you stay here, we recommend a visit to Krka waterfalls. It was very busy in august, but absolutely worth going! We also visited Sibenik; a beautiful medieval city at the coast and not too far away. If you consider staying in House Guda: just go and enjoy!

Gorjana & Vedran the 2 owners of the house are truly wonderful. We were greeted with local cheese & meats along with homemade cakes & fruits. The house was charming & had a true rustic Croatian farmhouse feel to it. The activities around the house were brilliant keeping kids & adults occupied at all times. The boules pitch that lit up at night followed by midnight swimming in the pool was real fun. The Krka waterfalls were situated less than an hour away & were truly worth a visit. The only 1 thing I found that was missing were any good local restaurants but with the great outdoor seating area at the house it was nice to cook & eat at the house. Thank you Gorjana & Vedran!

Our family of 5 (kids aged 5, 7, 10) spent a 12 day holiday at the Guda house in July 2015. Owners of the house are super nice and helpful. Communication with them was really good and they provided good tips and information about the area etc. Upon arrival they were waiting for us at the house and had prepared some snacks, that was lovely.
House and the garden was exactly as in pictures, we and especially kids loved the swimming pool. Also the pool table and the “petanque field” were great, used them a lot. You need a car in order to get there and to go around and to the beach. Don’t miss a visit to Krka National Park, especially Skradinski Buk waterfalls and swimming there!
One star is taken away because of the bees that were very numerous around the swimming pool on hot days (drinking). Needed to be careful around them in order to avoid bee stings. I don’t know if the amount of bees was so big because of the extremely hot weather during our holiday (almost +40 on most days).
I can warmly recommend the Guda house especially for families with school age children.

This is the third time we are renting a flat/house to stay through Airbnb.
And absolutly the best place so far.
We had such a great stay for 5 days.
The house got everything. Tabletennis, petanque, pool within a big garden surrended by grapes.
Our 3 kids never got borred, where busy playing in the garden or went for a swim in the private swimmingpool.
When we arrived we got a warm welkomst and the owners introduced us to the house and explained about the local area.
They are SO nice people and we definatly hope to be able to meet the owners again.
THANK you for leeting us stay in your lovely house.
